Thomson Local Directories

Shimeril has completed the rewrite of the database layer of Thomson Local's online search engine.

The new systen uses MySQL 5.0 as the database layer. Jean-Yves designed the database schema, optimised the data types and indices, and wrote numerous Stored Procedures encapsulating complex search and business logic, to provide Thomson Local with a new and powerful search capability.
